How to find icloud owners id?

Im new to this icloud thing, i bought 3 old ipads2 on a flea market, 2 where unlocked but one has icloud, the screen does not have the old owner info only n....@yahoo.com ,i dont have a problem trying to contact the owner ,but how can i find the owner id? even if is a stolen ipad i will be more than gad to returned, or ask the owner to remove icloud, but without the owner info is hard,any advice will be apreciated.,thanks

thats why my question is;

Can apple send a remainder email from time to time, to remember the owner that they have a loked device, and provide them with an option to unlock it for the new owner (in case they just forgot to unlock it) or to stop the remainder if they wish to keep the device locked. That way lots of non stolen devices would become working devices and apple would be selling more pps, is just an idea, for abetter service.

You can’t find it. Go back to the market and ask for a refund for that iPad.

yeah i thought about that and its not anoption, so i guess the question is (and i know imnot gonna change anything) Whats the point onloking a device to icloud? is it just to render the device uselles? i thought it was to be able to track or recover the device, now if the owner somehow forgot to deactivate the device, can apple send owners a message from time to time remembering that they have a device loked, that way the owner will be aware of and if the device is not stolen then the owner would have the chance to remove the icloud lock, or try to locate the device...can that be anoption in the future of icloud?

The activation lock is there to render it useless to anyone except the person who set the lock or the iPhone’s original owner(who can often get Apple to unlock it.)

You're certainly encouraged to offer your feedback to Apple.

Having said that, to advocate Apple (or any other manufacturer) to administer or regulate the resale market for their products is not likely going to see any action.

Apple will work with the original owners of their devices in the event they have forgotten the credentials used to protect their devices. After the device changes hands that first time, it's now a caveat emptor situation.

Apple does provide a quick, easy and free service to check for activation lock by usage of a serial or IMEI number... so it can't really be said they don't "care"

IMO, poor consumer awareness is the issue, not the lack of an Apple-run"system" for checks and balances.

FYI... here are the first 2 hits (of 17,000,000) on Google for the phrase -- "iOS check for lock"
