"Account" keeps kicking me out

MacBook Pro9,1

After signing in to iTunes and going to "Account" to view Previous Purchases, and trying to view the list of purchases (that go back to 2007), I am automatically taken away from my Account screen and taken to the screen that displays the purchase (pre-order) that I had made a few minutes before.

I repeatedly went back to the Account section, trying to view previous purchases (seems another pre-ordered album has disappeared from the list -- I was trying to find out what happened to do it), and repeatedly got kick out again and again, right back to the previous screen.

Anybody have this problem? Why would I get kicked out of my own accounts page?
