How do I reorder songs in a playlist in iTunes ...

I am working on a playlist in iTunes 12, I need the songs to be burned to a CD in a specific order.

I cannot figure out how to manually re-order my songs in this playlist.

I know how to order the songs by artist, album, genre etc but I need to be able to do it manually however I want the songs to play.

Any ideas?

Use View > View Options, and set 'Sort By" to "Manual Order."

Then you will be able to drag-n-drop songs up and down the list.

This does nothing. I have wasted 4 CDs trying to get the tracks in the right order.

This thread is from 2014, and the View menu that it refers to is different in 12.2. You may want to start a new thread with your exact question.

THERE IS NO SUCH OPTION

Select the first column header with the numbers then drag the songs in the order you want.

You just need to go to View>Sort By> and then choose Playlist Order.

That way you will be able to reorder as you wish
