Songs cutting off in Apple Music?

Hi- I have had a problem across a couple of different iPhones (currently an iPhone 7) and versions of iOS (including iOS 11) with songs cutting off about 60-70% of the way through and skipping to the next track. This happens with pretty much any MP3's that I download from the web and then import into iTunes/ upload to iCloud Music Library. Also happens both when streaming and when playing after downloading from iCloud to the iPhone.

I have tried deleting them and re-importing them/ re-uploading them to iCloud Music Library. Same thing.

The songs do play all the way through in iTunes.

Anyone else ever have this issue?
