Cannot recieve iMessages

I keep getting "an error during activation" when i try to sign in to messages. i can receive and send from iPad and iPhone. Also my computer will not wake when I tap mouse or space bar and this has just started.

is the account you are trying to use your iCloud account? Have you enabled the account in your System Preferences?

failing that create a new admin account, boot into that account, configure iCloud then start iMessage.

if the error continues you may post an etrecheck report for further analysis.
