iCloud space shared between family devices

I have multiple Apple devices using different Apple IDs (example: my wife has an iPhone with her Apple ID and I have an iPhone with my Apple ID). The two Apple IDs are connected using the "family sharing" options.

Is it possible to store the back-ups of both devices in the same iCloud space?

I'm considering to upgrade the iCloud Space to 1 TB, but if I can't share it between different devices, it doesn't make sense.
