Software Update to 11.0

Software 11.0 Update downloaded for my iMac but not installed after restart. Still says OS is 10.12.6

Sorry, what you are trying to do? There is no 11.0 update for macOS. There was an iOS 11 update released today, but not macOS.

The latest version of macOS at present is 10.12.6. macOS 10.13 will be released September 25th.

You are correct. My Safari is now 11.0. I misread the update to mean the OS. My error. Thanks for correcting me.
