Proofreading on iPad Pro using Apple Pencil?

I'm looking for a way of writing corrections and correction marks directly on a pdf page like you would with a pen on paper. (Some publishers want hand written corrections, so the comment tools in Acrobat and the like are not an option.) Does anyone here have experience with using an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for this purpose?

I use Apple Pencil with iPad Pro for proofreading, every day. This combination of tools is a vast improvement to the work of proofreading. It saves time and trouble, both for the proofreader, and for the recipients of the marked-up documents. I recommend Apple Pencil and iPad Pro to anyone who proofreads.

The app I prefer is “PDF Expert,” by Readdl. Although not optimized for proofreading, it works OK (as far as I know, no app is optimized for proofreading—they’re all clumsy—PDF Expert is the best of the bunch).

I work as the proofreader and copy editor at a major advertising agency.
