Voiceover voice change?

Hi I was wondering if there was a plugin or a set up for changing my voice into a woman, girl, boy etc. I'm doing voiceover for an animation and I would like to be able to change my voice for different characters. Is this possible? Is there a stand alone app that will do this?

I've tried playing around with the pitch and some other perimeters in Logic but it comes off sounding tinny, robotic and echo-y. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers,
