logic pro x reverb problem

I'm working on a project that involves a choir. We have a total of four parts (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass). Each of these parts were recorded in separate locations. The tracks sound good when stacked together. I have applied platinum "church" reverb on the master track, in order to make us sound like we are in the same acoustic space. This is for the most part effective, however I noticed that the lower bass frequencies are adversely affected. They sound artificial. Ive had more than one person ask me if the lower bass vocals are a synthesizer!!! This is not what I'm going for. Any suggestions?

PS I thought that if I put the same reverb on each channel track (as opposed to only on the master buss-out) then I could dial back on the amount of reverb specifically on the bass tracks. It might take care of the problem.

Any one else have this issue?
