Possible ransomware?

So my iPad Mini is currently locked and it displays a message that says I should contact pass.apple@mail.com in order to get access.

This is clearly a fake mail. What should I do?

Hi. Try the following:

1. Restart. Hold Sleep and Home buttons until you see the Apple, about 15 seconds.

2. Force quit Safari from the app switcher.

3. Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.

Do you have 2FA on your Apple ID?

Have you tried entering your normal 4/6 digit passcode?
