Billing address charged?

Hi everyone,

Recently received an apple email which stated that my billing address had been changed. This would not have been possible since the iPad is brand new and I did not put credit card details in during the set up. I have also not accessed my iCloud account since creating it, and have not changed any information at all. Just wondering if anybody has had a similar experience? The billing address has the same name to when I got the apple ID (it's the same as the original,) so I just find the email very strange since I have not acessed the account myself at all.

In that mail were you give a link to click to check on your address?

If so and if you followed that link you probably just got phished. If you did click on a link in that mail, log back into your apple ID and change that password now. Also notify your credit card company that your card may be compromised.

What you can do with these things is to log into your ID separately.....not from any link but to type the address yourself or google the address, and verify things. See if your billing address has been changed. If you did it cool. If not, then someone may have messed with your account.

I'm going to report your post to the mods, not because you did anything wrong per se, but you did post a document with your e-mail on it and you shouldn't do that in a public forum. Don't be surprised if your image gets removed.
