Signature in Preview (Sierra update)

After updating to OS Sierra I have discovered that the signature function in Preview is not working as it should.

The problem is minor but significant in that it renders the function unusable. I am still able to generate the stored signature however I am no longer able to resize and move it to the desired position meaning it remains over-sized and stuck in the middle of the page.

Is anyone else experiencing this fault and is there a fix?

I'm on High Sierra and when I add a signature it starts it off in the center of the page.  I'm then able to move and size it but after saving and closing it the signature ends up being in the center of the page AND the location that I moved it.  The placement is okay, but not sure why it keeps duplicates the signature in two places.
