Does the 87 watt Usb

I recently bought a 10.5 inch IPad Pro and in the WWDC keynote it said the new IPad will charge much faster with the USB-C adapter and I was wondering if the 29 watt would charge as the same speed as the 87watt or does 87watt charger charge the Ipad pro even faster then the 29 watt charger. One more thing will the IPhone 8 and X be the same thing.

Apparently, Fast Charging of iPad Pro 10.5” was not included (or was disabled) in final production units.

Both new iPhones include Fast Charging over USB-C cables, but not with wireless charging.
