Some of my music purchased through other music services that are in my iTunes will NOT sync to a second MacBook Pro. Why?

Not sure what you mean by "sync to a second MacBook pro."  You will need to add the songs to your iTunes library on that MacBook.  You can do so either by copying the song files from your first computer (perhaps using a flash drive), or re-downloading from the original source.
