Lost Audio Issue

I'm working on a song and recorded the vocals yesterday. I noticed one line cutting out suddenly today whilst working on the song.

Here's a screen grab of the line in question. As you can see the play head line in the main window shows a wave form but a weird janky one but in the window below which is slightly more zoomed in, it shows that there is no audio there and the wave form just cuts suddenly.

This wasn't like this yesterday when i recorded it so what's happened?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
