Lost all my podcasts with 12.7 update

I downloaded and installed the 12.7 update the other day, and since it completed, I have now lost all my podcasts, and have not been able to download any from the iTunes store since that update. I tried re-subscribing, and I did see a sign that podcasts were downloading, but I have no idea where they went, because they are not in iTunes, nor can I find them anyplace on my computer. "podcasts" is in the dropdown of available media, but all I have is that blank introduction page, with no podcasts listed, and the 2 checkboxes for "sync subscriptions, etc" and "automatically download" show up as checked every time I open the page, no matter how many times I uncheck them. Unfortunately, I don't have an older version of iTunes available to me, so I can't revert to an earlier version.
