Missing songs since cancelling Apple Music

I have a large library of music in iTunes.

I used to use Apple Music but have cancelled the subscription.

I still have iTunes Match.

Since cancelling there is music that is now ticked but greyed out in iTunes.  I cannot download nor play it.

I know I own this music as I have the CDs they MP3s come from.  I still have these music files in my iTunes music library (in Finder as a physical file).

Why isn't iTunes seeing them anymore?

How do I get iTunes to realise I actually DO own the tracks and they ARE in my library in Finder?

Hi Keith, Did you check in iTunes on the greyed out track by using command key + i what the licence is for the song?

If it is actually a mp3 of aac file you own, you could try to get them from a backup and reimport them in iTunes.
