I want to know if it is possible to use iCloud Music, so I can download music to listen offline, but without it messing up the album covers of my personal library. I've been using Apple Music for a while, with iCloud Music On on my iPhone (6S+, latest iOS), until I realized it messed up a lot of my album artworks, names, titles, metadata, etc.

I've read some previous post about this topic in the community, but they were from many years ago (2012-2013), so I suppose now in Sept 2017 there must be a solution, rather than just turn off iCloud Music (so you can't use it) and re sync the library stored in iTunes (if you were lucky to keep iCloud Music off there too).

How could it be possible that we cannot use a simple music service without being affected by this issue?
