After iOS update 11.0.1 songs disappear

After downloading iOS 11.0.1 all the songs in my Apple Music have disappeared.  I do not understand how they are there one day and gone the next unless 11.0.1 changes a setting (iCoud Music Library) when that update is installed. 

We are using the family plan, so all phones are affected that have been updated to 11.0.1.
