iTunes not working

I was copying movie file on my iTunes and in just closed the application by itself after completed the copy function.

I tried to click the iTunes icon but it refuses to launch the application even I restart my Macbook a few times.

Tried download iTunes and install, but the downloaded iTunes is not working.

Currently using OS X El Captain

Version 10.11.6

Processor 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Please assist.
