Screen Brightness bug on iOS11.0.1

Good Day,

 

 

I recently updated my iPad mini 2 to iOS 11.0.1 and i just found out the screen brightness suddenly changed its intensity (i usually like dimmer light) to a intense brightness (between in a middle). I tried to change back on my preferred brightness but it keeps changing too dim (max) and too bright (max). I've been tried to restart the device and nothing happens (my iPhone6 with same os works fine). Any ideas?

 

Device: iPad mini 2 with Retina Display (wifi+cellular)

OS: iOS 11.0.1

Hi. You may be experiencing Auto-Brightness. That setting has now moved to Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accomodations.

more 2 questions:

 

1.does turning off auto brightness drains my battery faster?

2. i checked my iphone6 and doesn't have auto brightness button, does above do the same on iPhone?
