Files iOS app bug

When I press a file located on my iCloud Drive imudibg the new  Files app, instead of it opening the file, iOS connects me to google drive. What’s up with that?

And having said that, how do you change the default app to open a file with? Seems like Files needs additional functionality. 

Yes, that is an issue currently. It seems to be defaulting to Google Drive for some reason.

If the Google Drive App is deleted then it appears to work normally.

Apple does need to make some options in settings for the Files app so the user can associate programs to use as default when opening files. Seems like a big miss.

Yes, seems like an oversight to let Google Drive take over. Specially when opening files from other Cloud services, it makes very little sense to open them in another cloud service, rather than directly in the Files App or at least offer a choice of App.
