Smart Playlist by "Release Date"

I'm a DJ and would like to have a smart playlist by "release date".  I know you can create one by year, date added, however, there is no way to create it by "release date".  There is a category to see the release date in iTunes, but what I don't understand, that category does not show up on the smart playlist edit settings.

*Note:  I understand that I could try putting "date added" and "year" to current, but that would not be the same.  I would like to set this playlist to show the newest music released in less than 6 months.  This would be very helpful to have it as a smart listing vice going in every time I download to add the track or monthly to delete tracks.

Apple, could you please add this category.
