If I turn on iCloud for photos it says it will ...

I want to turn on photos in iCloud on my  phone to share with MacBook and iPad. But I get a message that all my photos will be deleted.How to I turn on iCloud without loosing my photos on phones?

Are you sure that is what it says?

If you had the same photos on the MacBook and the phone, they will be replaced by what is in iCloud, which should include the photos.

Attach the phone to your computer, open Photos and copy all the pictures to the Photos Library. They should then sync with iCloud.
