iPad is stuck on the apple and bar when I try to restore it through iTunes...I have disabled firewall and it still won't work. any suggestions? thanks!

It sounds like you are restoring through iTunes but the process bar seems to get stuck part of the way and never finishes. Let's use the following troubleshooting to help make sure things are up to date, and see if software may be causing an issue: 

If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

Do you get any sort of error when this happens?
