How to update an app via another id?

Apple , some old friend purchased app from store now after ios11 that particular app became non compatible to run . I want to update that because i have so many memories. Allow me to update that app at any cost. I hope my apple never let my hopes down

To get the app to work on iOS  11 the developer of it has to update it, nobody else can do so.

 

If they do so, to be able to download the app on your account delete it from your phone and buy and download it on your account.
