My new mac is very slow

I bought a new Mac three months a go and the computer is too slow.  I have call support and went to the apple store.  I really want to return the computer since has the same speed that a Mac a bought in 2011. I normally buy apple products for their simplicity and quality, but I think i won't buy a iMac again.
