After syncing iTunes to my iPad, the photos in my albums and events are all mixed up.  They are correct on iTunes, but not correct on the iPad after transfer.  Everything is updated and current.  It happens if I transfer just one album or one event, or everything.  Any ideas, anyone?

Are you saying that the photos are appearing in the wrong albums, or that the photos are in their correct albums but are displayed in the different order within them ? If they are in the wrong albums then try deleting the photo cache from your computer and re-try the sync - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page https://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314

If the photos are displayed in the wrong order in the albums, then they will be displayed by capture date order unless you are syncing via iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac. To get them in a different order you will need to manipulate their capture dates : https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4221

Thanks for responding.  The photos are appearing in the wrong albums and events.  The order they appear is not a concern as long as they are in the correct album and event.  I have deleting the photo cache, but will give it another shot.

I thought I should follow-up.  I have trashed the photo cache as you suggested before, but I thought why not give it another try.  I don't know why, as so often happens, but this time it worked!  All photos are in their correct albums and events.  Thanks for taking the time to assist a frustrated user.  My local Apple store did not have a good suggested; nor, did Apple Support.  Thanks, again.

6 year and still this is an issue.  Why?  would be nice to have the photos show up in the same folders from where they were synced.  Without jumping though hoops and using a work around.
