MacBook Pro locked out: unknown password

I have a MacBook pro that is locked.  It asks for a password, but I have never had a password for this laptop.  I have tried my other passwords, none work. I believe my macbook pro was hacked as my iPhone was also locked.  I was able to recover and restore that iPhone starting from the find my iPhone app.  I was able to erase that iPhone and restart it.  The macbook pro shows on find iPhone but the erase mac button is unavailable.  I tried restarting it by holding down the option and r keys while restarting.  It stayed locked.  Can anyone please help?
