how to block managed users from changing password.

I am reaching out to you to ask for a recommendation for software. We are a PC based school, but have recently purchased some MacBook Air laptops for our new Madisonville campus. I am needing to purchase a Mobile Device Management (MDM) program to use so the desktop, passwords, programs, etc. cannot be changed. What do you use on your computers, or do you have any recommendations? I’ve looked into Profile Manager (Apple product), but supposedly it has to be used on devices on-site. I’m a PC person, and it’s been 10 years since I’ve worked on Apple products. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Setup the admin user account so only you know the password, then make all other accounts standard and they will not be able to change the password:

Login password

A login password, also called a user password, allows the user to log in and access the information on the Mac. Privileges are limited by the type of user. An administrator user is required to perform many important tasks, such as setting certain system preferences, installing software, and administering standard users.
