This computer is linked to another Apple ID

Hello,

Attempting to use Apple Music on my Macbook and becoming very frustrated with the whole experience. Me and my girlfriend have our own User Logins on one Macbook, and both have our own unique Apple ID's. Now, this has never really been a problem until now.

I've just gone to add music from Apple Music to My Library, when asked to turn on iCloud Music. After this, i'm then greeted with the below error. I've been aware of issues around being able to "associate" numerous Apple ID's to one computer, and that it ignores the fact there are different user accounts. Is there any way around this?

Thanks

No, but you may be able to get the timeout reset by the iTunes Store staff. The 90-day restriction is applied on a per-computer basis and not a per-account one.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. I have to say, I am dumbfounded, is this actually true? I can't understand why separate Apple/Itunes IDs can't be used on separate user accounts, while still being on the same mac. Is this actually true? Why can't users have separate iTunes libraries, if they have separate user accounts and apple ids??? If this is the case I have to say, this is the nail in the coffin for Mac as far as I am concerned. What an idiotic, pointless and inefficient system!
