I see the iwatch series 2 has disappeared.

I see that the iwatch 2 is no longer being sold, it quietly has disappeared.  So I hope that it will be supported as the various IOS for phone and iwatch updates this week.

I am under the impression it is a sales ploy, that with maybe a few chip differences the iwatch2 and the non cellular iwatch 3 are so similar taking the 2 out of circulation was more of a marketing move than technological.

the iwatch series 1 is still for sales, and that low end item, with fewer options might be here to encourage a buyer to go for the more expensive watch.   I am content with my iwatch 2.

The only thing I dislike about it is the band size.  the large band is too small with all watches, but they make a band and only one in a extra large wrist size.  Iwish they would assume us with popeye wrists need a bigger band.
