Question about pairing watchOS1 to Iphone 7

HI,

 

Just changed to Iphone 7 and tried many times to pairing up my apple watch (1).

 

iOS 11

watchOS2.2.2

 

Have unpaired from my old iphone 6.

 

managed to pair with iphone 7 but it ended up stucking into the "up-dating software" screen.

 

It shows " Your software is up to date."

 

No next step could move on.
