startsound loudness + lineout always move to di...

A) How can the startsound loudness decreased?

B) How can the chosen lineout be stable and not be on digital out at start?

I have upgraded my Mac Pro 2008 from 10.8.5 to 10.11.6. Then I got the problem B) - there is no sound from external loudspeaker because always the digital option was on. After chosen line out the speaker work well. In some forums I found advice about the NVRAM reset with cmd+alt+p+r. This created new problem A) - now is additional the startsound really loud. I want to decrease it. Some software is around like StartNinja, Automute, Psst and a soundprefene. All works not, is not possible to install - no success at all.

Can anyone help?

Thank you - it solved question A) the startsound loudness. Wrote this solution to my backup folder. Maybe I will need it someday again.
