How to unlock my iPad air

Hey I've locked myself out of my iPad and my computer won't recognise it or restore it 

If I take it into an Apple Store will they be able to do it?

They should be able to, but you should make a Genius Bar appointment, especially if you're planning on going to it at a peak time.

But before you go, if your computer's iTunes isn't recognising it have you tried : If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support ? Or has a friend or family member got a PC or Mac that you could try with ?
