Smart Keyboard not working after iOS 11 update

I recently updated dated to iOS 11 on my iPad.  However, it made the Smart Keyboard stop working in iMessage after I’ve made the update. For the most part, it works on most apps, however, specifically, with iMessage, it doesn’t work.
