Why is there no ability to mass delete texts on...

It takes SO long to have to go line by line by line deleting the messages, and in some cases they don’t even delete and the app crashes and brings me back to my home face — there has to be a way to fix this, as someone who gets work and personal texts to my phone this is really slowing down my watch — In my field of work I can’t have my phone out so I enjoy being able to tilt my wrist and see who text me, maybe quickly read it and move along — PLEASE figure out a way to make mass deleting texts on the Apple Watch a thing, or at lest mirror the iPhone when I delete them from there

It is not possible to bulk delete Messages conversations on Apple Watch.

 

To delete a Messages conversation on your Apple Watch:

 

  • Open the Messages app on your Apple Watch:
    • When viewing the time, go to the Home screen (by pressing once on the Digital Crown) > tap on the Messages app icon.
    • Or use Siri (eg "hey Siri, open Messages").
  • When viewing the conversation list, swipe left on the conversation that you wish to delete > tap Delete / Trash.
