Safari icon has disappeared on my new iPad.&nbs...

Received my new iPad yesterday. Safari icon does not appear on any screen. Have to search to open it

The Safari icon can not be deleted, but it can be moved. Please check other screens and within existing folders. Also check: Settings - General - Restrictions - Safari.

If all else fails:  Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.  You'll lose all the folders you might have set up, but all the apps will be there.

That worked.. I don't know how many times I checked folders and screens to no avail, but after doing restrictions> Safari - there it was in one of the first folders I checked.

Stedman, Safari is not present even when I search on my iPad. I'll reset it but I'd love to know how this happens, as it's happened before.

This did NOT solve my missing Safari icon issue.  I checked restrictions, and they are off.  I only have three screens, and the Safari icon is nowhere.  I had to reset the home screen to get Safari back.

Thank you. This worked for me, however it would be nice to know what I did to make it not visible in the first place.
