My MacBook runs reaaallly slow

Family MacBook runs painfully slow, has for a long time.

Have used CleanMyMac several times over past year.

I just ran an EtreCheck on it. Wondering if someone with more knowledge could review it and let me know what I can do to improve performance.

Anyone out there willing to help? If so, do I just paste the entire EtreCheck report here?

Basic info:

Model: 13 inch MacBook Pro, Mid 2012

Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3
