logic and yosemite reinstall

Hi... am resinstalling my Yosemite and Logic X... doing a clean reformat and reinstalling Logic X. My question is about the 60 GB or so of libraries/loops/contents. How do I avoid having to redownload all of it again. Will a simple backup followed by copy paste do? Can anyone tell me where it’s all located. My internet connection is not very dependable right now. Thanks!
