Macbook pro internet connection blocked

For some reason, I can browse when booted with safe mode or in a guest account but not in my admin account. I think some third party app is blocking my connection but I don't know which app is doing it. I'm pretty sure it's not a wifi issue since my other devices can connect to the same wifi. The same situation has happened before and I ended up reinstalling the system os. I really don't want to do that again.
