Dead Apple Watch not Charging

I have an Apple Watch sport series one and I haven't charged in it about 2 and a half months because I'm around water a lot and I don't want it to get wet.  I'm now looking to sell it and buy a series two but when I went to turn it on nothing happened so I assumed it was dead.  I then went to plug it in and the apple logo came up, then about 10 seconds later the logo went away.  And while on the charger this happens multiple time a minute.  I know it is not the charger because i've used both of my working chargers and the same thing happens.  I've tried to reboot it sometimes it comes up w a message the says got to apple.com/support.  Does anyone have suggestions.
