iCloud Drive synchronises only one way, and eve...

Hi,

I have iCloud for Windows (the latest versions of both) set-up, and it does not synchronise properly between https://www.icloud.com/ and my iCloud Drive folder no matter what I try to fix that.

For example, if I create/upload a file like "test.txt" in my local iCloud Drive folder on my Windows 10 PC, it never appears on iCloud.com no matter for how long I am waiting. (I want to use iCloud Drive for archiving, and I am paying for 2 TB storage for that, so it is critical that the automatic uploading from my local folder to iCloud.com should work.)

However, if I create a new folder right on iCloud.com it does get downloaded to my PC, appears normally. At the same time, older folders, created the same way on iCloud.com, are ignored and not synchronised with my PC iCloud Drive folder. No amount of PC restarts and iCloud for Windows de-installations and re-installations, including with the complete deletion of the iCloud Drive folder, helps to force full two-way synchronization. The screenshots with annotations are the best to tell the story:

iCloud for Windows status always says that iCloud Drive is freshly synchronised ("... minutes ago"), never report any issues.

The proper functionality of iCloud Drive has worked previously, but it is somehow stopped working.

Is there a way to deal with that?
