Amp Designer misbehaving since 10.3.2 software ...

I have a Logic project saved from before last night's software update and opened it for the first time since the update today.

One track has one instance of Amp Designer plug in loaded (setting is based on "Vintage Blue Crunch" preset using "Boutique Retro Amp" but heavily tweaked). There is also one instance of Channel EQ plugin loaded on the channel, but this is switched off.

When I first press play everything sounds like it should, including this fake amp. However, when I stop playback and then press play again either from the same spot where I stopped or from the beginning of the song, suddenly this fake amp is much louder and the sound is more distorted / saturated.

I've repeated this several times after closing the project without saving and re-opening - same result.

I've opened up the plugin window on the channel to watch it on screen and experienced the same phenomenon with my ears but none of the settings in Amp Designer change - all the knobs stay where they are, output slider doesn't move, etc etc.

Channel fader also stays in position.

Nothing changes on the bus that the channel is routed to.

So I am stumped as to what is happening and why. Need a fix for this ASAP as I need this mix finished to a looming deadline.

Someone please help!
