Can i exchange my new iPhone 8 for another one?

I just received (5 days ago) my brand NEW iPhone 8 Plus, and I’m having difficulties with it. It keeps leaving apps while I’m using it and freezing on me. Can I exchange it for a brand new one? I want what I paid for.

If you purchased from Apple, don't exchange it.  Get a refund and then purchase another one.  You have two weeks from purchase date.
