Disklabel no longer prints after Sierra update

Immediately after Sierra updated to the latest version 10.12.2, my Disklabel app no longer can find a printer connection to my HP Deskjet 2540. I checked Disklabel for updates but there was nothing new there.

The HP Deskjet 2540 is an Apple AirPrint-enabled printer. No USB connection is required and no drivers are required. Please read Connect an AirPrint printer to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support.

Sometimes, you have to restart your wireless router or access point for an AirPrint-enabled device to be recognized on your Mac. To do that just unplug your router from its power receptacle, wait a moment or two, and then plug it back in.

If you can't get it to work, I suggest "resetting the printing system" according to macOS Sierra: Reset the printing system, followed by adding it again as an AirPrint device: macOS Sierra: Add or remove a printer.

For scanning documents, please read Mac Basics: Using a scanner - Apple Support.

For instructions for that printer, including how to use AirPrint: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-2540-all-in-one-printer-series/52 95960/document/c02623193.

If you're still having trouble, please review the suggestions in Resolve printer issues on your Mac - Apple Support.

Disclabel (6.4.1) no longer functions correctly with Mac OS, unless you have Mavericks or prior OS installed.  They are not planning to upgrade this software for current OS compatibility.  Major bummer for me since I used it all the time.  Looking for an inexpensive alternative.

Yes, I have new iMac with Sierra. Many years with DiscLabel and many files on my old iMac. Looking for alternative, also.
