Hello friends

I have got a problem with my iPad , in the past I used to be able to play music clips or the sound of video clips  I run on youtube when I lock the screen on my iPad by sliding up the lower curtain... I'm not sure why I no longer can do that . This feature doesn't work anymore

i need help pls
