cannot boot into single user mode

When I was holding cmd + s , it shows the text ".......... No ER state object - rolling is not happening, nothing to recover", it just flash for a few seconds and then ask me to input "Disk password" , what is that ? I tried all the password I can imagine , they all failed.

Anyone can help me ? I really appreciate.
