Lost printer compatibility with new iMac
Bought new iMac 21.5 2.8 GHz processor running Sierra 10.12.6 in Spring. Current printer is all-in-one Epson Stylus CX4800. When trying to open Scanning or Utilities with new computer I get message it can't open "because PowerPC applications are no longer supported". From Epson website it states there is a driver for Sierra 10.12. From an Apple support page it states the updates for drivers are automatically updated. Directions from the Epson website lead me to to system preferences, then to Apple Store to search for new updates. None are found, indicating I have the latest software. Yet I still am unable to open Scanner or Utilities. What can I do?
